Our website is a tool we maintain for the purpose of furthering communication with and disseminating information to our patients and to the public. Confidentiality is of utmost importance in our work. We acknowledge, understand, and respect every individual’s right to privacy and security. We endeavor to protect the privacy of information provided by our patients, as well as other users of our website. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) endeavors to address concerns that a user of our website might have and explains the information we collect through our website, how we use and share that information, and choices our website users may have regarding their information. There is a separate document entitled NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES, posted on our website and relates to our use and disclosure of personal health information.

  • Contact information – first name, last name, email address, physical address, and telephone number, emergency contact, emergency contact information 
  • Account information – patient ID, account username, account password, and other information that we may request or that you may provide relating to your patient account.
  • Professional information – education, occupation and field of work, employer, job title and demands.
  • Personal information – date of birth, marital status, age and gender of children, health history, sexual health, partner’s sexual health, and primary care provider. 
  • Family planning information – religious beliefs, thoughts on adoption and future children, current and prior birth control methods, contraceptive alternatives, thoughts around vasectomy, and vasectomy and religion. 
  • Insurance information – insurance carrier, group ID, member ID, employer, and related Contact Information.
  • Marketing information – details regarding informational and promotional materials you may have requested or received from us, the services in which you are interested, your receipt of promotional communications, and information on your marketing or communication preferences.
  • Transactional information – details about your transactions with us, including method of payment, payments received, payment details, transaction history, and other information relating to your use of our products.
  • Communications information – copies of communications and inquiries you have submitted to us, including through email, calls, and features available on our website.
  • Device and usage information – details regarding how and when you use our website and services, including the device used to connect to our website or software, your IP address, the frequency and duration of your usage, the pages you view, what websites or search terms referred you to our website, and information about your interaction with our website.

To the extent you provide us with information about third parties, we will use it in accordance with this Policy. If you provide us with such information, you confirm that you have the consent of the third party or are otherwise entitled to share the information with us and that you have made the information in this Policy available to the third party.

Please note that we may aggregate or anonymize any personal information we receive so it can no longer identify you.  In that event, the information is no longer considered “personal information” and can be used by us for any purpose.

If you wish to submit your personal health information to us through our website, please do so using the File Upload Portal, where it will be maintained and protected as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices posted on our website. Please review that document carefully. 


Like most websites, our website uses various technologies to automatically collect information about visitors.  Those technologies include:

We collect information when you navigate our website, register for a patient account, schedule a visit, communicate with us, fill out forms on our website, or upload files through the secure portal on the website. 


We (or service providers acting on our behalf) may use the personal information identified above for the following purposes:

  • Providing and optimizing your experience on our website and ensuring that our content is presented to you in the most effective manner. 
  • Scheduling you for services, communicating with you and responding to your inquiries and communicating regarding our services and other issues.

Vasectomy Clinic PC (WA) and Vasectomy Clinic PC (OR) (collectively d.b.a. “DrSnip”) maintains security policies and procedures designed to safeguard personally identifiable and confidential information provided by you through our website. While we must all realize that absolute security is never possible for any information once recorded in written or electronic form, we are committed to implementing and monitoring our security program to mitigate those risks. We use reasonable care to protect your information while in use and in storage if it remains in our possession. We maintain back-ups to enable retrieval of important information should it be necessary. We follow procedures to irrevocably destroy personally identifiable information which we have collected or stored in written or electronic form, when it is no longer needed.
DrSnip periodically reviews and modifies, where appropriate, its security policies and procedures to remain responsive to potential risks.

Please note that, in the event you access any service through our website using a username and password, you are solely responsible for keeping your username and password strictly confidential.  Further, we cannot guarantee that submission of information to us using a webform or email is 100% secure.  Be aware that information you provide us via those means copies of email you send to us or to anyone could be discovered and read by others on your own computer, devices, or in transit or storage by your own email service or Internet Service Provider (ISP). While many people are comfortable with the risks associated with sending information in email messages, we strongly recommend that you DO NOT SUBMIT SENSITIVE INFORMATION such as personal identification numbers or credit card numbers, using our web Contact Form.  Instead, any sensitive personal information should only be submitted to us using our Secure File Upload Portal, which is encrypted for protection.


Any use of this website does not establish a doctor–patient relationship, and nothing in it should be interpreted as medical advice rendered to any user. Nor should any statement be construed to be relied upon as generally accepted medical advice or medically advisable practice or guideline.
