Dr. Chic Wilson is local to Seattle and a graduate of the UW School of Medicine. In 1999, Chic originated the No-Needle Vasectomy technique (upon which the DrSnip Vasectomy Technique is based) and authored the Vasectomy Chapter in the 3rd edition of Pfenninger and Fowler’s Procedures for Primary Care.
For more than 30 years, Chic has collaborated with other doctors interested in vasectomy to advance the modern technique. His contributions include the invention of the Wilson Vasectomy Forceps and the detailed training models for no-scalpel vasectomy procedures. Chic also performed hundreds of workshops for the America Academy of Family Physicians that included sessions on No-Scalpel Vasectomy, Advanced Vasectomy Techniques, and No-Needle Anesthesia.
After decades of commitment to improving vasectomy, Chic remains heavily involved in the movement.
